There is a bug in the recent versions which wasn't there previously. If you select one or more dwarves in the beginning (regardless of sex) their clothes and outfits cannot be shown. You can equip any armor on them and they still won't appear in the image/paperdoll. This doesn't happen with any other race and is consistent even after changing the race through transformation.
