You're right, I've also never seen the conflict portrayed as internal, or if I have, it's only been from a "Side B" point of view where the only right answer is to remain single (and even then i can't think of a game that includes that POV). I really enjoyed how that was one answer in this game, but not the only one. You're so welcome! And that's so cool that you like professor layton and that it started you writing! It was similar for me; Clive and professor layton in general really inspired my writing.
