You can play with two or 3 people, yes! Just make sure to change the Event resolution costs & power scaling to [R#] x Player Count, where [R#] is “number of the round you’re on as this card activates”. So basically, if you draw an OPFOR Event (basically a PvE card) on round 5 and you’re playing with 3 or 2 players, the OPFOR’s attack power will be 5x2 or 5x3.

That said, we do suggest playing with a full table for the most chaotic experience possible. This game is best balanced for 4 players, and we’re not exactly sure of how much of a stomp a single match may become with only 2 players. It’s why we’ve included full assets for virtual tabletop, like Roll20, so you can just set up a room with whoever, wherever they are.

Do get your friends in it if you can, even if they’ve never played this kinda game before - they’ll take to it quicker than they realize.
