Eh, Ai is fine i reckon. It just means more content for everyone and likely might cost a bit less for a game dev. After all, commissions are like 100 to 150$ and thats for one image. Maybe 2 or 3 if you are lucky.
Generally speaking an Ai can usually make lots of images for half or less of that price so while normal art is good, AI can be a cheaper solution. Especially for dumber things like backgrounds and static images that don't affect the game and such.
