is there any way to see the cutscenes, or is this currently not possible?
Doesn't appear possible. The black screen appears on the taunt endings too.The subtitles do appear and the menu to go to the main menu or retry the level briefly flashes.This can be tested by provoking Misty at the start of a level with her in it.
