I wasn't even asking for a refund or anything, was genuinely just curious if they could reach out to him, and see what's up, as they would have more contact info since they have to give payouts to him.
And ye, I get that shit happens, hell I've been guilty of similar with personal projects irl that got caught in progress hell for various reasons. I just genuinely want some clarity from the developer as he said months ago that there would be a update in a week or so and then vanished.
