Fun, fluid combat throughout. It is quite satisfying to get a combo going, plowing through two knifey frogs and KOing a battletoad before it can react. The timer is really strict and forces the player to master the game before squaring up with the king frog.  On the other hand, getting hit by rocks from offscreen or falling onto enemies you can't see is both unfair and breaks the flow. I think the camera needed to be pulled further back let the player react to these things.
