Did Youmu invade the SDM with a butter knife? Both her and the phantom especially struggle to get enemies off the screen. I do like that the shield variants force you to use the main mechanic in combat, even if I am rubbish at aiming with the phantom. There is some good quality of life here too, with teleporters and some rooms remaining cleared. But on the other hand, it's not possible to tell which switches must be held down or which blocks can be moved. I do appreciate the ending offered some explanation for the giant holes in the floor, and well earned after that fiendish final room.
