But if you're starting out, I recommend checking out the official Ren'Py forums—there are a lot of beginner-friendly guides and tips there!
As for the animations, I personally only know how to use Koikatsu.
Some creators use things like HS2 or VAM, but I honestly have no experience with those.
If you're aiming for an anime-style look, Koikatsu (or similar games/tools) could be a good place to start experimenting with animation.
Just have fun with it and explore at your own pace!
