Hi zhou66130571,

I’m sorry to hear that. itch.io support should be able to refund you soon.

If you’re willing to try troubleshooting, I suggest turning down the max vertical resolution setting in the realtime config:

The RTX 3060 has limited tensor performance and will only be able to run Vint’s interpolation at a low resolution in realtime. Something like 540p upscaled to a 60FPS output should be achievable but I have not tested that hardware configuration. The default config is targeted at a RTX 3080 or 4060 desktop level of tensor performance. Nvidia’s 4000 and 5000 series GPUs have far better tensor performance in the lower end GPU range.

Alternatively, you might have a better experience transcoding video files in the Offline Queue tab. That will allow you to interpolate to any settings but will of course involve preprocessing the video.

Please contact me at VintSoftware@gmail.com if I can help troubleshoot more.

I also have a documentation page that describes how to best configure Vint: https://willse.me/vintdocs

I will be working on better documentation and in app configuration guides going forward.

I hope your issue can be resolved to your satisfaction.

Edit: As a developer I am not able to issue a refund but I have contacted itch.io support on your behalf and requested your refund. I would have hoped to be able to help you get Vint to work but you should get the refund if you want it.
