Is there a way to disable the desktop buddy? my roommate occasionally uses my pc and i dont want to have that conversation when they get on and see him so im hoping theres a way i can disable the desktop buddy without deleting it

ive got it to work and found out how to hide the buddy for later however i ran into a new issue where emily and peter are running at the same time and i cannot get rid of emily EDIT: nvm i found out how to disable Emily while keeping peter but ran into a new issue i cant pull up the interact menu, i can kiss him and respond during idle chatter he has but thats about it
