It was a cool game! The UI in the build mode looks really good. I played this one for a really long time on stream because I wanted to figure it out but it was really confusing. I didn't realize I had to get on top of the mech at first, because the ladder was on the side. It's better to put it in the front where you can see. once I got up, the game made more sense. I'd also just get rid of the inventory because it's really more a nuisance than a game mechanic.
Anyway, it's a really cool concept, and especially really unique for a game jam, i love the build mechanic, it's quite compelling. I think you should improve on the execution though, and maybe try it again for another jam.
