Sensationell game, i like it, almost polished and a great gameplay loop, maybe you get a penalty after sprinting a long time or cooldown, did you use ResourceLoader for Meteors ? it may lag less =>
Unfortunately, the effects only came in relatively late and all the quick fixes for the initial stuttering didn't work. Hopefully we'll find a good solution before the next jam.
