That rumor has been going on for the last three years. At that point, I have no doubt that it was a marketing promise that would never lead to anything tangible. We'll see, and of course hope for the best. But I'm not very optimistic.
A full rework would take years if they do it right. It wouldn’t be just a basic update. Probably 5-6 years of real development. If they really started 3 years ago with the rumors, it’s possible they are around halfway done. I just hope it nots built around AI
Sadly, they are already including the worst tech and pratices in their app. Ai is already there, along with predatory subscription models. I don't see them disappearing with a hypothetical Daz 5.
