A sarcastic and unhelpful comment.

In my case, no matter what resolution I choose in the game settings, the game still launches at max native resolution.  If you're such a know-it-all, what could I have done wrong?

System Requirements

    Minimum:

    • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11
    • Processor: Ryzen 3 2200G / Intel i5-7400
    • Memory: 8 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD RX 570 / Nvidia GTX 1060
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 5 GB available space
    Recommended:

    • OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11
    • Processor: Ryzen 7 2700X / Intel i7-9700K
    • Memory: 12 GB RAM
    • Graphics: AMD RX 5070 / Nvidia 2060

im pretty sure that you already seen this it aint really helpful but the only people who have problems dont seem to have a good enough pc

that can be the problem gaming laptop work but not a normal laptop

i dont no your specs so i cant really help

I described a specific problem , namely that the game is using the wrong resolution. I don't think you have to have a supercomputer for the game to apply settings correctly. It has nothing to do with graphics. Saving settings is the job of the CPU.

All my specs, except for graphics, are well above recommended.

The graphics I have are certainly not rtx, but not bad either, considering that at max settings and at native resolution of 2880 x 1620 it gives at least 18fps. I never play games at that resolution because it's pointless. Even when I halve the resolution, visually it's not as bad, but the fps increases noticeably. For this reason, I wanted to lower the game's resolution in the settings, but as it turns out, no matter what resolution I choose, the game launches at the native resolution after loading.

Did you find someone with the same problem?

I wrote about the problem, and then let the developers decide whether to react or not. I don't care. I'll just delete the game and move on. Life goes on.
