By the way, just so you know, the game runs just fine under WINE on Linux. If there had been any problems I bet you Proton would have dealt with them, but there were no issues with plain old regular old WINE. So that was neat.
How, it didn't work for me when i did
"sudo wine Game.exe" on linux and i gave me this Error
[832:836:0315/210709.100:ERROR:dxva_video_decode_accelerator_win.cc(1372)] DXVAVDA fatal error: could not LoadLibra
ry: msmpeg2vdec.dll: Module not found. (0x7E)
so how did you install your wine?and which one?or should i just play on windows ?now i am unsure what to do right now because i want to install it on linux to skip the hassel of switching time to time to windows just to play video games
I installed it from the WineHQ repo. I'm on Wine 10.0, running under Fedora Linux. I haven't had any problems with it this way, so no matter your distribution I would recommend getting wine from the official WineHQ repos rather than through your distribution's packages which may be outdated or broken. Let me know if it works, and if not I could help you troubleshoot it.
It worked, i just purged everything wine related with help of this thread
https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=394972
and then installed everything with the official wiki of winehq
https://gitlab.winehq.org/wine/wine/-/wikis/Debian-Ubuntu
and Thanks for your help.
