Interim report of sorts.

I was hooked right away! About half an hour in though I lost all progress, assuming it would auto save after each scene. Tried to find a menu before closing, but all the standard buttons didn’t do the trick. Only later remembered that there was a booklet… so I’ll revisit sometime later with all my newly gained knowledge. However, pressing ESC didn’t work on my PC, while that is stated in the booklet.

Another issue I found came with the full-screen mode: it didn’t scale the picture, just dropped it unchanged in the top-left of an otherwise black background. Whoops.

P.S.: Excellent trailer, btw. Burning palms out of nowhere.

Okay, I just spotted the note about offering no save system. Sure thing I was mislead by the “CONTINUE” option in the opening menu, but that was probably enforced by the game engine in use. (Nonetheless, the note would have been better placed in the game itself.) Why several entries in the booklet’s controls table do not fit the controls of the game… that I have a hard time explaining away. Any explanation welcome. :)
