right!! it just feels like all of his feelings come pouring out, like it conveys just how overwhelmed he is with how much he loves and cares for angel. it's So intimate, there's a carefulness there that i just really really appreciate and love reading, it's rare. and the fact that he's so attentive to angel is beautiful :') you don't get that in a lot of games, a lot of the time it just feel like nsfw for the sake of it, or like there isn't a lot of feeling/emotion in the scenes themselves. even when you know these characters in these other games love each other, sometimes those feelings don't shine as brightly as they do in 14dwy.
with the nsfw scenes in 14dwy, it doesn't feel that way at all. it's genuine and loving, and ren's feelings come through so vividly in them. the desperation is incredibly raw, and you can really feel just how potent this love/obsession really is for him.
