Purchased this game eight years ago on itch.io. Now, the downloads are taken down, with a notice on the front page saying that you "will be providing Steam keys to all those who purchased here on Itch.io." Well, checking my email, I sure never got the notice. On my itch.io download page for the game, there is no Steam key. Hell, a quick search on Steam shows that the game is, in fact, available for purchase on the platform--and I don't own it. And who would've guessed, it's now on sale for about the price I already paid for it all those years ago here on itch.io!

What's going on? Multiple projects, including this one, are really making me reconsider whether it's worth spending even one penny on projects that are hosted *or* originate on this platform, as once they get their money they feel entitled to bait and switch and take the files down at will.
