As far as I know, the playing games with Adrian part is only for a scene when you're sharing Anna with him, I'm pretty sure you have to share someone with him to befriend him, either Alice, Anna or Samantha maybe
I got the dialogue without doing any sharing with Anna (I haven't even hacked Adrian's PC) and Japan unlocked after that. But again, I might have gotten this after sharing Alice with him.
