I want to jump in here. I think you're splitting hairs. As someone who also pays a free version is good for the visibility of the game. Should it be a priority over the paid access version, no I think not. Should an attempt be made to get a free version out with included QoL improvements and especially one that includes an emergency save breaking fix, yes. If you're already paying why are you complaining about the free version taking longer. Nosy is already a very communicative developer compared to others and does his best with juggling a full time job AND releasing a new paid version every 2-3 weeks (better than most devs).

Edit: your part about devaluing I think is incorrect. QoL improvements to the free versions only increases the value and quality of the game and makes for a better impression to those just discovering it, I don't know how you got that adding anything to the free versions would be a devaluation.
