the warnings are there, yes. but this game shocked me so much. there really isn't a single happy ending! i have never played a game like this before. and although the plot is good and i love how every character is complex and well written, i couldn't finish playing this game lol. it's too gut wrenching for me. i might pick it up again later though since even though its hard to play i keep wanting to know what happens next and after that, and even more after that. also, in my opinion i like Sebastian the best. he's crazy but at the very least, he didn't sexually assault or abuse the mc right? well maybe he did if you consider him stealing *those* yk. if i remember correctly he also watched her while she did THAT. but honestly out of everyone, if i had to choose i'd go with Sebastian. maybe quinn too? but i haven't tried his route yet so i can't say.

lol i might be into sum weird shit cause some how i don't mind that at all. i don't exactly consider him to be a villain just because of that. though mr bipolar really fooled me I THOUGHT HE WOULD BE MY FAV CUZ I REALLY LIKED HIM IN SEB'S ROUTE. oh boy was i wrong. lowkey wasn't mad at seb when he unalived mr bipolar. though can't say i wasn't annoyed at some point haha
that's fair hahaha! i did come around to liking seb later in the game. honestly, now that i look back after finishing the game, im not surprised he was often the one to ruin everything. seb is the one person who is most convinced that he needs to save monika. he's the one person most willing to go to any extreme for her even if it greatly upsets her because he's delusional enough to think getting rid of the men around her = her safety (obviously, very selfish way to go about things). i totally agree that julian was the harder route to witness because how overtly violent he is to her. i was not charmed by it lol. i wrote this review after being annoyed seb was always the one foiling things in brandon's route, esp since most of them brandon already took control of the family so monika was completely safe (imo). maybe a controversial opinion but brandon is level-headed enough that i dont think he would ever hurt her intentionally. yet, as i mentioned before, seb views brandon as a threat to her safety despite that not being true. his intentions aren't as pure as they seem in other routes and i got pissed LMAO. anyways i adore this game so all is forgiven hahahahaha
