Regarding saves, yes, that's possible!
On the web browser version, you can use the hamburger menu in the top left to export and import your save.
On the other versions, the save games should be retained normally, I believe. If you save the game during the 'you have reached the end of this version' message, the game should continue from where it left off in the new version.
On Android, the save games should be under "Android\data\com.mumeimiyafuji.orangesmash\files\saves", in case you want to backup them manually.
