So, I basically made this jam for me to have motivation to finish personal portfolio goals instead of fanart, studies, and commissions. Deadlines are nice to have, but self-imposed ones do not mean much. I have participated in several game jams, and missed more, and the feeling of failing to submit them makes me sad, so I thought this would be a good impetus for me. If anyone else joins, I hope this also helps you.
More about me: I love video games and think of them as one of the greatest forms of art due to their ability to combine so many other forms while adding personal interaction and cause and effect. i code, write, and make art... but I am taking a pause to try to get a portfolio of all the same thing, instead of so many different things. Since I am late I can already go ahead and say I am working on my work but I am tired! And want to do and have done other things! But that is the point of this, I suppose, and we still have a long way to go!
