Hello, finished the game a couple hours ago, here are my thoughts:
First of all, amazing production, I cannot BEGIN to imagine the amount of time this game must've taken to make. A big congrats to everyone involved, really, really impressive stuff!
The characters are so well thought out, and everything they do, their actions seem so human and so impactful. At first I really couldn't sympathize with Genzou, then as his story progressed, everything made sense yk. Iggy and I are insanely similar, and I could really relate to the things he would do, imagine myself doing the same thing if, in his position. (truly, i questioned how he was so similar to me multiple times throughout the game).. and tbh it made me realise a few insights about myself too, a little closure that there are in-fact people that go through something similar.
I feel pretty squeamish around blood and gore, so that was a bit of a concern going into the game and although i did have the censor on, still some of those uh.. incidents really, really made a strong impression. Multiple times i just couldn't read the extremely gory descriptions ykwim and i wished there was an option to skip over that text (btw the writing is really great, i felt insanely uncomfortable - which ofc ik is one of the aims of the game, so great job!).
Kinda also made me rethink my friendships and relationships- again i relate with Iggy - making friends is easy, but maintaining them feels like such a taxing job. I'll have to work through those feelings I suppose.
I'd say this game definitely made an impact on me. Great job everyone. Devs, thank you for making this game, and thank you for reading :)
