I'm in the pyramid and I still can't get the gate in between the 2 portals to open. I have the Lv. 2 sword, Lv. 2 axe, Lv. 2 shield, Fire spell, Ice spell, a crank handle, and the key from the very beginning of the game.
Were you ever able to figure out what to do next? I’m in the exact same situation.
