It should work. Maybe give it more time to load? Part 1 is much bigger than part 2.
Thanks for reporting this, unfortunately I am unable to recreate this on my own and figure out what might be causing this issue. I tried to open the game on different devices and use different internet browsers, everywhere it worked without any problem for me.
Anyway I rolled back Part 1 to older version for the moment. It actually has the exact same content as the new version.
