There should be a switch on the upper right of the map to turn off oxygen supply. Then go back to the left to open the elevator door with another switch.
yep what he said you gotta turn off the power in that area which will turn off the life support systems too until you get the main power back up and kill the flames, so make sure you got have oxygen tanks,
