Edit. Gave up on playing it on the Deck

Ignore me, just a foot note

Currently trying to get it to work on my steamdeck

Windows (as is)

Win version is playable, animations are broken (stopped testing after I left the house); Haven't played it on desktop mode.

Linux (Proton Experimental)

Launches to confirmation screen, doesn't accept inputs.

Desktop mode - windows too large (new to linux gonna tinker around)

Also, where are the save files (Win & Lnx) located?

Hey, thanks for your feedback!

We actually put full Steam Deck support in place on Steam before the game's release there. But without Steam itself and Steam Input, a lot of features were lost. Reimplementing and maintaining all those features outside of Steam, especially for a platform where it's not really welcome, is a new huge amount of work for no gain.

It's not about being upset or anything like that - it’s just a matter of practicality. Hope you understand, and thanks again!

Been following you guys since last year or so, I completely understand.

My post is for future reference.

How many times have we looked for a solution online, only to be met with "nvm, got it working". Figured that if I find a solution, might as well help out. I actually meant what I wrote as my heading.

I apologize if I sounded like an ass. Thank you for your hard work, & wish y'all the best.
