I recommend you reach level 18 and use the goddess bracelet to defeat him easily, you can get the goddess bracelet in the first map of the game, in the oasis where you start playing.
I think you didn't understand my problem ? But I still tried to fight him with the godess bracelet and for some reason this time the game didn't make me lose ? (I did exactly what I did with and without the godess bracelet and the result were different, is there something that stop you from going further if you don't have the godess bracelet?). Well still thanks for helping me now I will be able to advance further into the game
You have to use the skill Legacy so you can't die vs the hero cause after you take him down the third time he then uses a skill that will always kill you unless you have the Goddess Bracelet on and was at level 20 or higher (When I took him out when i did use it but i running a save without it) anyways the skill the Lion leader gives you before you die is what you need to use before you take him out the third time then after that you win the fight with one more attack do take note that you can use it at anytime but you have it's effect for five turns
