What does Tactical defeat actually mean? Does it take away exp when winning in combat now or just increases when losing exp?
Why would you ever think it would do something so stupid? It just means you still get exp when you lose a battle.
The whole point of the ability is to grant the player a small portion of the Eros and xp they would've gotten had they won, when they instead loose the fight.
Tldr: you still get some xp, and Eros when you lose! :]
