Vulkan. The crash occurred after death in a small room with humanoids and two shooters during the first playthrough. I tried again just now and everything is normal. I respawned successfully.
I've also seen this happen once, myself. I died and spammed "R" to respawn immediately (and/or button mashed my keyboard), and it crashed the game (patch 1.0.5, VULKAN, Windows 10)
