How is it NOT suspicious when someone knock on their own entrance door?
....and how did your keys fit?
(Or did I miss something? o_O )
(And I don't get why you don't try to leave, storm or not.
Granted, the guy is hot... but it seems foolishly risky to stay with a stranger.
More risky than getting lost in a small snowstorm.)
Interesting choice with the cartoon-bubbles for speaking.
He's very sweet tho. ^_^
The guy is VERY handsome too. (And just a little emo-esque)
And pretty cute as well.
The only thing that could improve him was if he had black hair. lol
But that's just my preference.
It's a very short game, but it's a good start to a game that could be good or bad, depending on how it turns out.
The writing is also very good, although I'm unsure what to think of the cartoonistyle chat-bubbles.
It really DOES feel like the start of a yandere (or horror novel). lol
But it COULD be a fluffy touchy-feely thing to. (Although the warnings suggest it's not.)
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more on the softcore yandere side, personally. ^_^
(Not that I mind the darker yandere, but I prefer manipulation of brute force and entrapment.
Which works well if you're stuck in a place that's snowed in half the year, as -he- wouldn't need to trap you.... he could let you go when you wanted to, and trust nature to trap you and come off as a savior who valued your right to leave if you wished.
I mean... If you try and run instead of taking him with you if you want to leave, when spring comes, naturally he'll have to resort to more drastic measures.
But the best yandere games are the ones where you barely notice that is what he is (obsession aside) until your actions forces him to act. Or he has to eliminate a threat.)
I AM curious to see if the writer is capable of writing any yandere traits both subtle enough to be hidden AND small hints that comes off as charming if a little disturbing (like knowing things about you he shouldn't, or always showing up to save you out of the blue which seems lucky coincident until the third time it happens.) And it seems promising thus far.
Either way I look forward to see what happens when more of the game is developed. ^_^
