I played your game, and there are a few points that need to be addressed:
First, the good points:
πThe enemies are very cool.
πThe main square is also nice.
πThe power-ups are great.
πThe music fits well with the game.
Now, the bad points:
πYour game has a big optimization problem. I'm currently on level 7, and I see a slideshow in front of me. I think you're not removing the old enemies when moving to the next level, which is a shame because your game has potential. But if you're creating a game with loops and you don't think about optimizing it, that's problematic.
πThere's also the rhythm of the game. I feel like the game doesn't speed up. It doesn't get harder; the only difficulty is the number of enemies. But because the game lags...
πThe music is nice, but it doesn't play continuously. At some point, you canβt hear the music anymore, which takes away from the game's value. Also, why is there no sound? The game doesn't have enough sound effects. Sound effects are a crucial part of the game. Ideally, a game should be enjoyable even without music.
πFinally, the theme is not really followed unless your goal is for the game to become worse over time, which is where things go wrong.
I'm telling you all this because your game is really good, and everything related to the enemies and the environment is great. The idea of having levels with a loop also works well, but there are a few things that ruin the experience. Try fixing these little things, and you'll see the game will be much more enjoyable to play.
