The game now is much better in terms of quality of life, I encountered a few bugs such as a tower taking fire but not getting destroyed and also at a certain point I started getting negative wood in stock (wtf?) and then lost (not a problem, it is a beta).
The main issue now I think is the fact that there is not much need for strategy: hazards are (or at least feel) randomic, enemies are almost all equivalent in terms of behavior and also lack visual characterization (they are really too similar to each other).
Something I can think of is, as example, having hazards only happen if certain conditions are met (e.g. towers too close to each other take fire) and boss happening periodically (e.g. every few rounds) and knowing the direction of arrival the boss (so that I can be more prepared), or enemies spawning in predifined groups for which a certain kind of combinations of towers is better.
The game gets old after a few matches, as a phone game this would be way more appropriate but I would only play it for a week or so (which is not bad at all for a Beta).
