Hello, it is difficult for me to handle this kind of feedback, but your wording was respectful, so I respect you in turn and will try to respond.
Thank you for trying both of those routes, much appreciated! The extra time it takes for the hundreds of if/else statements is very time consuming and I have given effort to make things different, but I am focusing on story now so I can promise Zobbe's not in any "danger" of being stuffed. I did not intend to have things be like that so I will keep the feedback in mind for the future, possibly adjust some things to make it less a focus. With my tight time constraints, something had to give and it was unfortunately that. I do intend to make things more flexible in the future.
As for Daz, I do plan on letting him be a focus at some point so that is exciting.
Thank you for the other comments too, almost no one mentions that optional thing so I am glad someone took the time to let me know they care!
It is difficult to make things overall that appeal to as many people as possible without putting off too many others as I am trying to do world building too, and while I cannot please everyone I still want to keep the game flexible so I will keep what you said in mind for the future, thank you.
