I noticed the IHNM reference and loved it, but is the ending where you get turned into a block of flesh an All Tommorows reference?
I aware of “all tomorrow” and i think it affected how I write this story in subconsciousness. So it’s not a direct reference but rather an indirect inspiration.
Cool. I recommend you read it, it’s a very good read and really makes you think about human behaviour and our history of warfare.
