This isn’t my kind of game, but thank you for the checkpoints. I’m not sure if they were intentional, but there a couple of issues of readability that I ran across:

  • On the first screen, if you are in the valley with the bonus (?) item, your health bar covers up your jump bar. By that point in the game, I didn’t have a sense of timing on the jump bar that was good enough to know when to jump without visual feedback, so it became trial and error to get out of there (and I wasn’t even sure if I could).
  • On the third screen, there’s a one-tile-high ledge on the right side that somehow I kept colliding with while jumping if I was right against it. I’m not sure if that was a bug.
