This game strives for a sprint through an ever intensifying tower, but makes it at a snails pace. While the initial concept of the game is intriguing. The game suffers from the pacing of combat and movement. Attacks feel sluggish, and weak which may be there by design, but doesn't have that punchiness found in other rogue likes. Increasing the animation speed, and fine tuning the character speed can help give it that face paced responsive feeling found in games like binding of isaac or league of legend. The music was good providing a melancholy atmosphere and sometimes discordant chaos during fights and in the menu. The art looks good but can be improved a little bit by refining the silhouette of the characters and weapons to make them stand out more in the crowds of enemies. The GDD was well laid out for the most part, except for the controls being listed with no commands they are tied too. Overall a great first start, with more refinement and passes I think this could become a neat little indie. Keep making cool games!
