There was something about that early period of GAN based image generation around 2019 and 2020 that was just so otherworldly and incomprehensible, It was really compelling stuff. It's a shame AI gen stuff has turned into slop, but I suppose it was inevitable. I do my best to make sure the assets for this game are made as ethically as possible, I try to ensure nothing is trained on pre-existing artwork.
