I just played Pawfish Bay, and I’m absolutely in love with it! The mix of fishing, grilling, and serving cats is such a simple yet satisfying gameplay loop. The Gold Miner-style fishing mechanic is fun and easy to pick up, but there’s just enough challenge to keep things interesting—especially when you have to manage cooking times and keep the picky cats happy.
The pixel art is super charming, and the little cat animations made me smile every time. It’s clear a lot of love went into this game, from the cozy vibes to the relaxing music. Honestly, I downloaded it thinking I’d just try it for a few minutes, and then suddenly, I was totally hooked (pun intended).
If you’re looking for something chill, cute, and enjoyable, I highly recommend giving this a shot. It’s free, but I’d say it’s definitely worth tossing a few bucks to the dev—it’s amazing this was a first-time project! Looking forward to more from HopterFish in the future. 🐾🎣😻
