Hey mgomez, I'm glad you enjoyed the game! Please feel free to use this project as a starting point for your portfolio, it's always been my hope that it would make for a fun project to build on. You can check the licensing on GitHub if you want to double check what's allowed, but a non-commercial project building on the sample for your portfolio is definitely ok.
