EDIT 2: Quoting the description of the book which happens to be a graphic novel, "Andy, Maggie, and Olivia travel different paths toward transformative change, each confronting to what extent they will fight for freedom, and who they will become in doing so."
Seems more optimistic than your view of Hong Kong's future haha.
