Not a fan of the look of the priest, but his personality seems promising....
(Not a fan of red hair and beards in general tho, so that's no fault of the game. Just my idiosyncrasies.)
I like Adam tho. He's VERY handsome.

Did she take the blame herself? They wouldn't do it to anyone but a believed witch.
Not even someone who used the services of one.
Nor would they do it if she repented after admitting guilt.
(Well, I suppose it depends on region and who's in charge. But by and large most burnings were of women who held fast that they were innocent.
They often let those who admitted guilt and acted repentant go....or be killed in a nicer way.)
But I will concede the game world may not be this world, so the rules could be different there.
I truly enjoy the subtle undercurrent of hostility in the game: Bickering that's actually polite enough to fit in with the aristocracy and upper classes.
(So few master the art of writing this style of subtle stabs into their royal court/upper class historical games. But it suits it so much better than the usual bluntness people tend to write. So kudos.)
Although Marie sounds a bit low-class at times. But that may be intentional I'm guessing.
....I fear Aravind most of all.

Especially considering the way he came to you.

I DO wish there was more save slots tho.
I miss the infinite number of save slots that comes with the basic Ren'Py setups.
Even IF the one that is in this game is more beautiful.

Small note: Sometimes the text falls under the game window itself.
And it doesn't help making it full-screen. You can't actually read the last line of text when the text-box is filled. (PC download at least)
I do like Aravind.
He's very dangerous with his knowledge.... terribly so.
He defiantly should not be trusted completely, even if he seems loyal thus far.
But I like him.
The artwork for the backgrounds in this game is truly exquisite.
The artstyle for the characters are unusual, less realism and more art, but non the less very good.
And the story is well-written and draws you in.
Please tell me this game is on Steam, or will be!
