First of all: Nice artwork. And the writing is good too.
Secondly: How come she doesn't ask the -important- questions?
Like... "Will I keep my memories?"
Cuz otherwise I'd hole up in a cabin in the woods as far away from traffic as I could get.
reincarnation is worthless if you don't get to keep who you are.
(I assume she will of course. But she doesn't know that.)
....I wonder if I can be a villain instead of a hero...somehow.... *ponders*
Being a hero is just....ugh.... >_>
Any chance that this game have, or will have, some kind of route where you can be a villain at some point?
Like, maybe a 4th reaper makes off with you before those 3 can, or in each of their world there's a villain and you can choose to fall for them and run off or something?
(Or just plain get too deep in with Dark Magic and let it corrupt you --my favorite. ^_^ )
....I think this world should be happy I don't have any magical powers and is too damned lazy to actually do something that would impact the world. lol
I guess either way I'll have to wait for the fantasy world. *sigh*
Oh, well.... C'la vie.
I also feel like there is no better reason to skip school and homework than knowing you'll be dead soon.
I mean... it's a pointless investment for a future you'll never see.
And she clearly doesn't enjoy it.
So why not just call in sick?
(I'd say drop out, but with her age I'm guessing she has parents somewhere that'd kick up a fuss. But calling in sick should work. And in a few days it won't matter what anyone in that world thinks anymore.)
Also a bit surprised she isn't settling her affairs. But she -does- strike me as friendless and possibly orphan too.
So unless she has a facebook account she want to turn into a memorial or something I guess it makes sense she doesn't bother with practical things.
(Well, that, and she seems like a dreamer more than practical. lol)
.....unless she is actually delusional because of a brain tumor, and is hallucinating everything, and the game will take a surprise turn as we see her hauled away to an asylum. *stares at the game suspiciously*
The story is very captivating tho. The writing pulls you in.
I am surprised how long the game is before the Isenkai part kicks in.
I can't help but wonder if that is not meant to happen and the game is actually the part before it happens. oO
Why is the mc not a self-insert name tho?
Considering how common that is, I assumed it wouldn't be too hard to code.
And it always improved the experience when you can play as yourself.
....not a fan of the Steampunk world's end game.
Not to say I mind the problems, but the solution.... ugh.
Although I suspect I am outnumbered by people who would like it. lol
I -can- see how someone who is not me might like it.
Not a fan of the ending either.
The game builds up a certain type of expectation, and the ending completely circumvents it.
It feels VERY disappointing.
I quite frankly don't get how the mc isn't dissapointed too.
It was such a big buildup, only for it to deflate like that.
The 'bad ending' (or non-romantic one at least) is the only ending that lives up to the premise of the story, and it doesn't really show anything of it.
It's especially sad because the game is actually pretty good, and the artwork as well.
But in the end up get no choice either way, and it just fail to live up to it's premise.
