Good alpha impressive start. Platforming section are great but most of the game is hindered by movement speed.

suggestions:

- reducing the jump buffer after as it is way to generous right now,

- When player has reached the top of a ladder they shouldn't bounce at the top of it but keep there position at the max height. 
- Changing enemies or player hit box so that you can consistently bounce on there head currently it is very tight and being a little to far forward or back kills you for how fast the movement speed is this is bad

Biggest issue: definitely the camera it is not fast enough for the player speed when running making it hard to see whats coming next consider decreasing inverting or removing the camera lag so the player is always towards the middle or opposite end of the camera when they are running. Such as how sonic games such as sonic colors

Note you may simply want to reduce the max speed and increase the acceleration if the speed doesn't serve a purpose as currently it hinders a lot of the platforming

This is what I call a feedback!

I'm already working on some of the problems you rightly pointed out, such as enemy hitboxes and ladders, but actually jumping takes too long and I'm trying to balance it. I had already fixed the camera but forgot to include the change in this version of the game....
