Description of Setup (Optional but recommended)
Here is my submission "Lost to Time" for the Impressions Composing Jam: Ambience #2.
Created in Logic using plugins from Spitfire Audio (Cinematic Frozen Strings, Chamber Strings, Media Toolkit), Kilohearts Phase Plant, and a kalimba sample from Pianobook.
Also layered in some moments of electric guitar played with an E-Bow.

I like the sounds you picked, and how it fits the vibe. Sounds like its Dune inspired.
I'd say the mix is a little dry and narrow. It sounds like the sound that I'd want to be big and wide (the main sound) is like a small thing in front of my face, rather than big and filling the space.
I'd apply a realistic reverb and pump the space up.
I left you a message in the discord server.
Great work! :)
Nice tension from the start and beautiful progression with arpeggio and etc. Really like it, great job!
Cool composition, I love with the string, it just nice, but that middle part tho just like a drawing with a different contrast.
Wow I really liked the strings, and I never thought a guitar can make that sound with a bow haha. Nicely well balanced mix and dynamics. Great job!
Hmm, the track was just atmospheric at the beginning.....
AND THEN IT BECAME A BOMB! The vibe of the second part of the track is great, it made me want to go outside and take a walk.....
Awesome!
Amazing composition. Starts off very dark and mysterious but then swells into something more emotional and dramatic, like you've just discovered the truth about the lost city. There's a great synergy of synths and acoustic instruments that's mixed in well. Honestly my only criticism is that it ends too fast lol. Would love to hear more of it.
Thank you for the feedback! I wanted to incorporate acoustic sounds the moment I saw the image and read the brief for this jam!
Haha, maybe I should make an expanded version at some point soon :)
For some reason, when listening to it, I had the feeling that there was nothing left of the city, despite the search, it evokes a strong emotion, I liked it. I'm just sharing my association with you. I liked the development of the music, its volume and compositional integrity.
Thank you for your music!
Thank you very much!
