This is a really cool way to present a pen and paper game!
Can I clarify this is how it's meant to be played?
1) Mark a sector
2) You can choose to roll and mark either a column or row that matches the number (so if you roll a "3", you mark either row 3 or col 3)
3) Keep going until a marked sector is in an intersection of a marked row and column and reveal
