I literally gave up trying. :') He keeps walking in place no matter where I try to cross. I even tried sprinting and he just moved all along it like there was an invisible wall and overshot and hit the wall beneath the bridge, and he won't jump.
just move around and you should move up over it
move forward while moving forward move side to side
