try restarting the game after saving, that worked for me

P.S. (whatever that means...) capital letters work too, you just can't tell in game. it also adds an extra *boss after it but the * is supposed to be . it might just not support the character and it might be a file extension that this game uses. oh what 𝚕𝚘𝚗𝚐
